2010

Impact & Figures

The year in review

2019 has been an important year for CERRE. We have made a significant contribution to the EU’s future work with concrete recommendations to the newly elected Parliament and the new European Commission.  The CERRE White Paper 2019-2024 presents our think tank’s priorities and ambitions for a stronger Europe.

We have welcomed new members, and we have brought in new academics and team members. Our growing structure, academic resources, diversified membership and independence has made CERRE the unequalled forum to explore new approaches and to generate ideas and solutions.

As the European project is experiencing a profound crisis, CERRE’s mission is more relevant and important than ever. Empowering citizens in their daily life is a necessary condition to help them regain trust in Europe’s institutions. We are proud to contribute to regulation that stimulates citizens’ engagement in the energy transition, helps them to safely benefit from the opportunities offered by the digital economy and allows them to enjoy better mobility.

I am honored to lead the talented academics and dynamic team that make up our think tank and I thank them for another successful year. Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to CERRE’s members whose trust and engagement make our achievements possible.
