The CERRE Board advises and decides on strategy, counsels on the research programme.  They decide on the annual accounts and establish the annual budget. They are also in charge of appointing the Director General and the Academic Directors and Co-Directors. 

As per CERRE bylaws, the Board of Directors includes high-level representatives from member organisations (regulators, enterprises and institutions, and academic centres), as well as independent members.
