Sally Broughton Micova Appointed CERRE Academic Co-Director

  • 14 February 2022

CERRE is please to announce the appointment of Dr. Sally Broughton Micova as Academic Co-Director to its Tech, Media, and Telecom (TMT) practice.

A CERRE Research Fellow since 2016, Sally is a Lecturer in Communications Policy and Politics at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and a member of UEA’s Centre for Competition Policy. Her research focuses on media and communications policy, primarily in Europe but she has also done work on media regulation in countries in Southeast Asia and on global communications governance issues.

“It’s a pleasure to take up this new role at CERRE and further my collaboration with the think tank. There are huge developments in digital policy, specifically content platform regulation right now. I look forward to helping to shape the future of research in this area with the support of CERRE’s academic team.”
