About

The European Business Summits (EBS) will hold the 6th edition of the EU Digital Summit, titled “Opening the Digital Economy” which will take place on 30 June 2022 in partnership with CERRE.

Shaping Europe’s digital future is both a priority and a challenge in 2022 for the European Union, which aims to be at the forefront of innovation and competitiveness while protecting consumers. The summit will highlight policy, business, and academia’s priorities regarding the digital transition in Europe, as collaboration with international partners and public-private partnerships will undoubtedly be key in areas such as data sharing, cybersecurity, and regulation of «tech giants».

Multiple CERRE academics will join the event as panellists and Director General, Bruno Liebhaberg, will moderate the opening session “Opening Up The Digital Ecosystems” and the following fireside chat “EU values in digital: which way ahead?”.
