CERRE is pleased to announce three nominations for its academic team in the Antitrust Writing Awards 2022 as organised by Concurrences and The George Washington University Law School’s Competition Law Center. This annual event promotes competition scholarship and contributes to competition advocacy.
The first piece nominated is the discussion paper ‘Options to strengthen the control of acquisitions by digital gatekeepers in EU Law’ from Tilburg Law & Economics Center (TILC) published by Jens-Uwe Franck, Giorgio Monti (CERRE Research Fellow), and Alexandre de Streel (CERRE Academic Director), October 2021.
The second is the article ‘The European Digital Markets Act: A revolution grounded on traditions’ by Pierre Larouche and Alexandre de Streel (CERRE Academic Director) as published in the Journal of European Competition Law & Practice (Volume 12, Issue 7, pp.542-560), August 2021.
The final is the recent article ‘Market Definition in the Platform Economy‘ by Jens-Uwe Franck and Martin Peitz (CERRE Research Fellow) published in the Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies, 21 December 2021.
Public voting for the ‘readers choice‘ article runs from January 19 until March 25 2022 (to vote click on any of the nominated articles on the award website and submit your score) and winners will be announced at the Antitrust Writing Awards Ceremony on Tuesday April 5 2022 in Washington, D.C.
