CERRE Academic Co-Director Sally Broughton Micova was featured in an interesting article on the Digital Services Act (DSA) by Politico. The news piece, titled “Europe’s online content law has teeth — now it has to bite”, discusses the Digital Services Act’s ambition to clean up Big Tech and how it will only be as strong as its enforcement.
Broughton Micova is quoted on how much of a role auditing plays in this, saying: “Auditing is really going to be key and right now, it looks like only the Big Four can do it.”
