Politico Morning Tech interviewed Alexandre de Streel, CERRE’s Academic Director, on the launch of his latest CERRE report ‘Improving EU Institutional Design to Better Supervise Digital Platforms‘, co-authored with Giorgio Monti.
The report looks into how the EU needs to rethink how its regulators hold tech companies accountable to its growing number of digital laws.
De Streel told Morning Tech it was “absolutely key” for EU capitals to develop structures similar to the U.K and the Dutch forums fostering discussions for regulators overseeing consumer, privacy, financial and media laws.
