On Wednesday 23 March, CERRE Senior Project Manager Tech, Media, Telecom & Mobility, Claire-Marie Healy, will moderate the session “Multimodality and Interconnectivity: Achieving an efficient and greener transport sector” during the 7th Annual Future of Transport Conference.
This session will discuss the role of connected and autonomous vehicles and of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) offerings, the rise of increasingly smart and efficient logistics services and the impact of improved urban transportation systems brought by the implementation of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platforms.
As part of this session, the panel of experts will look at the proposed updates to the ITS Directive and discuss the next steps necessary to establish a common European data space for transport that successfully promote data sharing within the entire transport ecosystem which will be essential to make mobility greener, safer and more efficient.
