The Centre on Regulation in Europe is pleased to announce that Joakim Reiter (Group External Affairs Director, Vodafone Group) nomination as a member of the CERRE Board has been approved at the CERRE General Assembly on 16 June 2020.
Within the CERRE Board, he replaces Reinald Krüger (Vodafone Group) who was a substitute member of our Board of Directors from December 2019 to June 2020 following the resignation of another Board of Directors member.
The CERRE Board gathers eleven high-level representatives from academia, industry, and regulatory authorities as well as one independent member, Pascal Lamy. It provides leadership for carrying out our mission to bring decisive contributions to the continuous improvement of regulation of digital, energy, water, and mobility industries.
Joakim Reiter is Vodafone’s Group External Affairs Director, responsible for public relations and corporate affairs, including policy and regulation, communications, security, sustainability and charitable activities.
He is also currently an advisory board member of the World Trade Institute, sits on the Board of the Swedish Space Corporation and is a member of the EU’s Horizon Mission Board for climate-neutral and smart cities.
