Our Researchers Join Group 5 in the “French States General of Information” Initiative

  • 25 October 2023

We are pleased to announce that our Academic Director Alexandre de Streel and Co-Director Marc Bourreau, have become members of Group 5: “Regulation Architecture – Defining the Regulation Framework for the Information Space and its Stakeholders” within the “States General of Information” initiative, initiated by President Macron this summer.

The “States General of Information” is a forward-looking project aimed at addressing various challenges and opportunities in the evolving information landscape. Group 5 specifically focuses on defining the architecture of regulation for the information space and its key stakeholders, as well as strategizing its implementation.

As part of this initiative, our experts, Alexandre de Streel and Marc Bourreau, will contribute their extensive knowledge and insights to help shape the regulatory framework for the information space. Their participation in this group highlights their commitment to the development of informed, effective, and balanced regulatory solutions for the digital age.

The “States General of Information” is set to conclude in June of the following year. We are excited about the potential outcomes and solutions that will emerge from this collaborative effort. Stay tuned for updates on our researchers’ contributions to this important initiative.
