Interview with Alexandre de Streel in La Libre

  • 25 August 2023

In a recent interview, Alexandre de Streel, CERRE Academic Director and professor at the University of Namur, shed light on the profound changes underway in the digital landscape. He discussed the Digital Services Act (DSA), which is set to impact major tech players like Google, Facebook and Amazon.

While some may wonder about potential impacts on the business models of companies like Google and Facebook, de Streel clarified that the DSA is not aimed at a complete overhaul but rather at curbing excesses in areas like online advertising and content recommendations.
