About

Europe is planning radical regulatory changes for energy and climate and the European Union (EU) owes consumers a clear explanation of what these changes mean for their lives. All actors must be involved in the energy transition.

On Tuesday 20 October, CERRE’s Director General, Bruno Liebhaberg, and Energy & Climate Director, Máximo Miccinilli, participated in the CEER Customer Conference ‘Let’s Aspire! CEER-BEUC 2030 Vision for Energy Consumers’.

The conference aimed to give the wider public, particularly consumers, a voice in Brussels alongside high-level speakers from European institutions, industry, regulators, academics and think tanks.

Bruno Liebhaberg and Máximo Miccinilli discussed CERRE’s support for the principles of inclusiveness, simplicity and protection, featured in the CEER-BEUC Vision, within the context of the EU’s 2030 and 2050 climate objectives.
