Veronika Chvala Vinklarkova

Veronika Chvala Vinklarkova is an attaché at the Czech Permanent Representation to the EU with a focus on the digital and telecommunications agenda. She joined the Permanent Representation in the summer of 2021. Before that, she was working at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic in the European Digital Agenda Unit.

During the Czech Presidency, Veronika was chairing one of the preparatory bodies in the Council – the Working Party for Telecommunication and Information Society. This particular working party is negotiating crucial digital and telecommunications legislative and non-legislative proposals, including the Data Act. As part of the Czech Presidency, Veronika also concluded negotiations of the Interinstitutional declaration on Digital rights and Principles and the Decision establishing the Digital Decade Policy Program 2030.
