Tim Meyerjürgens

Tim Meyerjürgens is the CEO of TenneT Germany since January 2025. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at TenneT Holding B.V. from March 2019, overseeing onshore, offshore, and international interconnector projects in the Netherlands and Germany.

With nearly 30 years in the energy sector, Meyerjürgens is specialised in power transmission and renewable energy. He was instrumental in developing TenneT’s offshore business, aligning it with corporate strategy and innovation, and has extensive experience managing political and business stakeholders.

In April 2024, Meyerjürgens was appointed as an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Lithuania’s Litgrid. He is recognised for his technical expertise, leadership in offshore energy projects, and commitment to advancing European energy collaboration.
