Solène Charpentier has 8 years’ experience in electricity market modeling, economics and regulation. She is the policy advisor in charge of climate and renewable energy at EDF European Affairs.
Before joining the Brussels-based team, she was an electricity markets analyst at EDF in Paris, focusing on long term European trends and providing economic assessments for investment projects. Previously, Solène worked on hydro power plants modeling at EDF’s Research and Development Department.
Solène graduated from Ensta Paristech as an engineer specialized in Optimization and Energy Management in 2012, she also holds a master’s degree in the economics of sustainable development from IFP Energies Nouvelles.
