Reinald Krüger

Reinald Krüger is Policy and Public Affairs Director of Vodafone Group, based in London. Prior to joining Vodafone Group in 2018, he held management positions with the European Commission, in the Directorate-Generals for Industry, for Competition and for Communications Networks, Content and Technology. Until 1995, Reinald was Head of the Research Group “Industrial Economics and Competition Policy” at the HWWA-Institute in Hamburg. He was also a Consultant with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, D.C. (1989) and a Competition Expert to the World Bank (1990). Reinald is an economist by training and author of more than 30 publications in the areas of industrial economics, competition policy and transition economics.
