Øystein Langberg joined EQT in January 2025, is based in Oslo and serves as a Managing Director in the Corporate Affairs team and Head of Public Relations for the Scaleup Europe Fund.
Prior to joining EQT, Øystein spent over a decade at the Norwegian daily newspaper Aftenposten, including nearly four years as U.S. correspondent based in New York, and three years as Europe correspondent in Brussels.He has also served as EVP Communications at DNB and advisor to former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Øystein holds an MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics.
