Marco Benacchio

Marco Benacchio, PhD, is an Economist and currently Head of the Unit “Regulation of electronic communications markets” in the Directorate “Electronic communications networks and services” at Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni (AGCOM). From 2009 to 2013 he served AGCOM as advisor of the President.

Previously, Marco Benacchio was case handler at the Italian Competition Authority (Autorità garante della concorrenza e del mercato).

From 2016 to 2018, he was Co-chair of the Berec Expert Working Group (EWG) “Regulatory Accounting”. Currently, he is Drafting team leader of the “Regulatory Accounting” sub-group of the EWG “Remedies”.
