
Laurent Probst
Vice-President of EMTA
Laurent Probst is the CEO of Île-de-France Mobilités and also Vice-President of the association of European Metropolitan Transport Authorities (EMTA).
He was a civil servant in the field of transport for more than ten years, fulfilling positions such as the head of the Infrastructure Financing Mission and the head of the Public-Private Partnerships Expertise Mission. He was also deputy director managing the contracts for the network of motorway concessions between 2012 and early 2016.
Laurent Probst was an advisor to Valérie Pécresse for more than three years, first as an advisor for financial affairs and real estate at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, then as deputy chief of staff at the Ministry of Budget and State Reform.
Furthermore, he is a Chief Engineer of Bridges, Waters and Forests, a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and a postgraduate of the London School of Economics.
