Kristina Hansen
Head of Communications
Kristina Hansen is the Head of Communications at the Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE). With a strong background in Public Relations and extensive experience in communication and public policy—particularly in digital strategies and stakeholder engagement—she leads CERRE’s communication efforts. Her career includes roles as a Project Manager for European programs at the Ministry of the German-speaking Community in Belgium and as an Event Manager and Consultant for PR and Social Media.
At the German National Tourist Board (DZT) in Belgium and Luxembourg, Kristina advanced from Digital Marketing Officer to Press & Digital Manager, and ultimately to Director, leading the Brussels office. In these roles, she was responsible for overseeing communication strategies, campaigns, and stakeholder relationships.
Fluent in German, English, Dutch, and French, Kristina drives effective communication at CERRE, fostering collaboration between industry leaders, policymakers, and the academic community.
