Inge Graef is postdoctoral researcher at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) and the Tilburg Law and Economics Center (TILEC), as well as guest lecturer at KU Leuven. The focus of her research is on competition enforcement in the digital economy. Inge is particularly interested in the interface between competition law and other fields of EU law such as data protection, intellectual property and electronic communications law.
Prior to joining Tilburg University, Inge was affiliated to the Centre for IT & IP Law (CiTiP) of KU Leuven where she prepared a doctoral dissertation about the interaction between competition law and data on online platforms. Her PhD thesis was published as a book in 2016 by Kluwer Law International under the title ‘EU Competition Law, Data Protection and Online Platforms: Data as Essential Facility’. Inge has also been involved in a number of policy studies for the European Commission and the Belgian government on topics such as net neutrality, electronic communications law and the regulation of business-to-business relationships in the online platform environment.
