Herbert Ungerer is a former Deputy Director General of DG Competition at the European Commission and former Chairman of the Board of appeal of ACER, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators.
Mr Ungerer has held various positions within DG Competition, including Director in charge of Energy, Basic Industries, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Head of the Media unit and Head of the Telecommunications, Posts and Information Society Coordination unit.
