Francesco Sciacchitano

Francesco Sciacchitano is Senior Legal Officer at AGCOM, the Italian communications regulatory authority, where he has worked in the last 17 years in both the audio-visual and the telecommunications sector.

Mr Sciacchitano is a senior lawyer with a specialisation in communications law and administrative law and a passion for international relations and cultural diversity.  He also teaches at the St. John’s University of New York and at the Universities of LUISS and Tor Vergata in Rome.

Previously, he worked as Project leader at the Bosnian Communications Agency, at the European Commission and as a Merger & Acquisition regulation expert at the Bear Stearns Finance Department of New York.
