
Chloe MacEwen

Chloe is a UK Regional Director for Corporate, External and Legal Affairs at Microsoft. Chloe previously led the Digital Markets Act issues and competition policy at Amazon. She has also led the Competition Commission’s policy work in the UK, serving as a National Expert in the Competition Directorate of the European Commission and led mergers work during her time a Deputy Director at the UK Office of Fair Trading.
After her time in government and as a regulator she moved to Lloyds Banking Group where she held the roles of Head of Competition and Head of International Policy – leading external engagement during the Independent Commission on Banking’s investigation into Lloyds/HBOS and numerous Treasury Select Committee inquiries. Chloe also led campaigns on payments regulation and financial benchmarks liaising with national and EU legislators on all aspects of payments, countering money laundering and terrorist financing.
Chloe holds an LLB and LLM from King’s College London and is a solicitor qualified in England & Wales.
