Carlos Romero Duplá

Mr Romero Duplá has been working as the Digital Transformation Attaché of the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union since November 2013.

Previously he was Deputy Director General of Information Society Contents of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism in Madrid, a position he held from 2012 to 2013. State Attorney since 2001, he held positions in the State Attorney’s Offices in Vizcaya as well as in the National Court and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade. Between 2006 and 2012 he was General Secretary and Secretary of the Board of the Public Business Entity Red.es.
