Amaryllis Verhoeven

Amaryllis Verhoeven is Deputy Director at the European Commission and currently working in the Commission’s department for the Single Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs. She has served the European Commission for more than 20 years, holding different positions. Before joining the Commission, Ms. Verhoeven worked as an attorney with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. Ms. Verhoeven holds Ph.D. in law and political philosophy from the University of Leuven and regularly teaches and lectures on EU law and policy, with a particular focus on EU regulation, at different universities.
