Designing an EU Intervention Standard for Digital Gatekeepers

Date:
04/03/2020 - 14:00 to 17:00
Venue:
The University Foundation, 11 Rue d'Egmont, 1000 Brussels

This executive seminar will present the policy recommendations of a new report 'Designing an EU Intervention Standard for Digital Gatekeepers', by Prof. Alexandre de Streel (University of Namur & CERRE) and Peter Alexiadis (Partner, Gibson Dunn & Visiting Professor, Kings College London).

As numerous reports and studies from around the world recommend a review of antitrust policies in the digital economy, this seminar will debate whether a review is relevant and whether there is a need for complementary regulation.

This event will bring together representatives from national and European competition authorities, policy-makers, key industry players and academic experts.
